We wanted to keep the vacation costs down this year, so we decided to go camping at nearby Gore, Oklahoma back in July. We camped at MarVal Family Camping Resort, since it had great features for Annabelle — namely, a pool and a playground!
Annabelle also liked the campfires.
Naps outside were a new experience!
We threw rocks into the river every day.

It was fun, but we believe we camped a couple of days too long. Annabelle was attempting some potty training, and the nearest bathroom was a small hike away (there was one right next to us, but Abby checked it out and it didn’t pass the cleanliness factor).
